Quarantine hobbies

Since I was a little Javi, I was obsessed with the dance. My family wasn't have much money, but my mom saved the money because in november or december every year, We were going to the municipal theatre to see a ballet performance. I was in love with the ballet, so I started to go to a ballet academy since I was 5 or 6 years old. 

My obsession is not just with the ballet, I love many other dances, and I had the opportunity as a child to go to dance lessons because of my parents. And in quarantine, I decided look for online dance lessons. 

In april I found a teacher of twerk, and I started to go to her lessons. I love her lessons, dance twerk is very funny (and no, dance twerk and listen to reggaeton doesn't make me less feminist, I pratice this because I dance for me, and even if I dance for a men, who cares? Is my problem. Periodt). Dance is one of the things that has made me happy in this quarantine.

And also, I learned how to embroider. I have embroidered every t-shirt and some trouser that I have found in my house. 

My skills about makeup has improved, because in quarantine I have practiced a lot. This is a hobbie that I have in quarantine and in the normal life.

An embarrassing moment

This is the situation, I have a very bad memory, so I really don't remember embarrassing moments of my life. Actually, I can't remember what I do the last week, or what I eat yesterday lol. For this reason, I will tell a story that happen today.

I woke up in the morning (I say "morning" only for not confess that I woke up at 1 p.m.), and I really thought today was october 30th. So, I though it was my friend's birthday , and I am a good friend, so y sended him many messeges saying "congratulations" and things like that, and obviusly he laughed at me and he tell to our friends, he toke a screeshot to our conversation and share it on instagram, he really exposed me lol.

The truth is that I dont feel super embarrassed with this situation, because rarely I feel like this, normally the situations like this that can be embarrassing, only are funny, and just make my laugh a lot. But with other situations like go to buy in a store and question for a price, I get shy, and I don't know why.

The best day ever: Lollapalooza 2019

The truth is I love going to concerts, I going to at least once a year, because I love music and I fanatic of many artists. But the best concert that I went, was the Lollapalooza 2019.

I went only one day of this festival, because is very expensive, for the same reason I went alone. The rumor that my favorite artists would sing at the festival was getting louder, so I started to saved money. And finally the rumors were reaized, and Lollapalooza announced that Arctic Monkeys, a band of Rock (my favorite band actually), Sam Smith, a singer of Pop and R&B that I love (my favorite singer), and Troye Sivan (a pop singer that a love too), will comes to Chile the same day of the festival. I could not believe it, It was as if the stars will align for me, all my favorites artist sing the same day OMG, it was exactly what I wanted.

I remember this day as the best day of my life. I remember that when Troye Sivan sang, I felt very happy, like in a party, the best party ever. 

When Sam Smith sang, I cried a lot, I was very excited, and really I could not stop to cry. 

And finally, when th show of Arctic Monkey started, and I listened live to the amazing voice of Alex Turner (the vocalist) and the sound of the instruments mixed, I felt a lot of feelings, I can't explain this feeling actually, because is so hard, in short, I felt like so happy, like never before in other concert. 

That day, when the festival was over, I cried for hours, It was so crazy lol.

A country that I hope visit someday

First, I need to say something. I hope visit many countries someday, but I choose one only because I need write this blog.

The country that I wanna visit is Scotland. Scotland is a country that is part of the United Kingdom, in Europe, fills the north of the island of Great Britain, and includes more than 790 islands. The true is I wanna visit an specific city in Scotland, Edimburgh, the capital of this country.

I would like to visit Edimburgh because is a magical city, is the perfect mix between a old city, with their castles and big threes that make it looks like a wood in a medieval era, and a modern city (the photo below shows this aspect).

I would like to go to this city not just for its beautiful architecture and landscapes, that obviously I wanna visit, also because Edinburgh has many interesting stories (or legends), associated with differents places, I'd love to walk this places.

Im just wanna visit this city actually, and also maybe study, because I think that work or live in Edinburgh is not a good idea, because I know I will miss my family.

Chocolate volcano

Was hard for me chose only one thing that I love because I love a lot of things, but mostly I love the food. So, I started to thinking what is my favourite food, and I had two options in mind, lettuce in a salad or chocolate volcano, and finally I chose chocolate volcano (or volcano cake). 

I think that everyone in this world must eat at least once in there life this dessert, because in my opinion is the best.

This dessert consist in a chocolate cake (like a brownie but more spongy, with volcano shape obviusly), that when you cutting the cake, the chocolate sauce go out like lava (the name of this dessert is very appropiate actually).

Normally I eat the volcano cake with ice cream, the best couple in the world definitely (best couple than the sopaipillas with mustard).

My mom promise me that in my birthday, my birthday cake will be a big chocolate volcano, because with an individual portion never is enough.
